Our History

Officina Meccanica Cicioni was founded in 1913.
Its founder Corrado Cicioni, expert in precision mechanics, begins his business as fitter disassemblying and reassemblying cars'engines.

In 1917 he obtains the qualification to practice as conductor of boiler and movable steam engines for agricultural use from the Prefect of Perugia. In 1924 he attends the International Fair in Rome and wins the gold medal for special mechanical works of precision. In the 50's he specializes in manufacturing loading shovels and excavators and later he starts to develop in the hydraulic industry, which became the main activity of the company..

As years passed by, the son Giancarlo and the grandson Giampaolo specialized in manufacturing hydraulic power units and cylinders, giving advanced high quality solutions, trying to satisfy every need of the various industrial applications.

In the 80's , Officina Meccanica Cicioni is one of the first companies to develop a mini power unit CPI with a very compact and versatile round tank, a product that is till today a best seller of the company and it continues to be developed in accordance with the new technological trends.
